Do you remember the famous Olympic Alpine skier Picabo Street (pronounced Peek-a-boo)? She is now a nurse in an Intensive Care Unit at the local hospital. She is no longer permitted to answer the phone. It caused too much confusion when she answered the phone and said "Picabo, I.C.U"... [This is, of course, a fib. She published her autobiography, titled 'Picabo - Nothing to hide'. And that is a fact.]
You can sway a thousand men by appealing to their prejudices quicker than you can convince one man by logic. Robert A. Heinlein.
Very relevant these days when people seem to think that punctuation is superfluous:
What is the difference between a cat and a comma?
A cat has claws at the end of its paws,
and a comma is a pause at the end of a clause.
(I'll see myself out...)
