This morning, Rotary Surfers Sunrise presented the 11th Lutzy Award to a young emerging leader, nominated by the Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club. The selection, whilst being a good surfer and lifesaver comes as par of the course, is made primarily on the basis of demonstrated leadership and commitment to the Surf Life Saving movement.
The winner, Brayden Andrews this year has clocked up over 200 hours of Control Tower duty, not a small achievement! He was presented with a fully fledged and signwritten surf ski - see photo.
