Hi to all. This is a supplementary Presidents Report. I thought I would take this opportunity to do a few of things.Firstly, a huge welcome home to our president and the brand new Mrs Winwood. Our Club is in excellent hands and I know it will grow and prosper under the leadership of Jo.
Secondly, thank you to my darling Robyn for her help in editing the Presidents Reports over the past year. It has turned into a weekly ritual. I get up at about 6.30 every Monday morning write the report and Robby has a wee sleep in till about 7.00 when I am ready for her to go through what I have written. When she is satisfied with it, off to Franz it goes. We then wait for his phone call with suggested changes or corrections of facts. Some I reject but some I embrace, eg. I inadvertently called Al's wife (Coral) Riga the other week. Both Robby and I missed it but not eagle eyed Franz.
Thirdly, thank you to those of you who have commented on these reports, either good or bad. It warms your heart to know that people actually read them.
Last but by no means least, a huge thanks for all the support I have received over the past year from both my wonderful Board and the rank and file members of the Rotary Club of Surfers Sunrise.
