President Mitch Brown welcomed all members, our guest speaker Maria Leebeck and Charles Thomasson’s guest Matthew Clayworth, one of the team at our corporate member Wilsons Advisory.
After Mitch’s customary acknowledgment of country and brief lesson on the origin of the name of ‘Clagiraba’, a suburb north-west of Nerang, he pronounced the recently held Golf Day an outstanding success and thanked the organisers Doug Lipp and Charles Thomasson, as well as all the players and helpers on the day. Mitch also invited all to participate in the 50th anniversary of the Broadbeach Rotary Club. The function will be held at Emerald Lakes Golf Club on 26th November.

Mitch also reminded us of the recently adopted Strategic Plan. At a meeting in March 2023, the individual chairs will be asked to bring us up to date on the progress made.
