Graeme Isaacson was at the door, (not only checking people in but also very efficiently organising that the right people got the right meal). Ray Higgs (who, together with our former member Christ Thurtell, was instrumental in setting up the Lutzy Award several years ago) was Chairman and Andy Bell was Sergeant. We had apologies from Gerald East, Ian Mayberry and Brian Pearson.
President Paul Seymour welcomed all members and guests - as we presented the annual Lutzy Award, too many to list individually, but of course, we want to mention our special guests: Jett Milford-Ferguson, the winner of this year's Lutzy Award and his family, Jan Lutz, David Orchy and Shane O'Connor OAM (Surfers Paradise SLSC), Margaret Grummitt and Annie Dorian (Rotary Club of Parkwood).
President Paul welcomed our newest member, Paul O'Neill, to Surfers Sunrise (photo left). A member of Rotary since 2008, he has transferred from the Rotary Club of Parkwood. His classification is 'Health Administration'.
