Excellent sausage sizzle fundraiser at Bunnings today in ideal weather conditions. Thank you to our new organiser, Fundrasing Director Ross Augustine for putting this all together, Angus "Onion King" Miller for procuring all the food and chopping the onions, and the cooks and helpers on the day: our "retired" member Brian Pearson and Uwe Seifert (Rotary Club of Broadbeach), Mitch Brown, Gerald East, Mario Fairlie, Fred Hamblen, Andy Bell, Darrell Brown, Doug Lipp, Charles Thomasson, Ben Loots and yours truly (giving myself a pat on the back). Photo was taken at changeover time at 10 am, from left: Past President 1999/2000 Neil Beattie bought a sausage, Gerald East, Mario Fairlie, Angus Miller, President Mitch Brown cooking and 'Honorary Queenslander' Anne O'Connor who rolled up at 07:00 with freshly washed and ironed aprons and, as far as I can see, was on the job all day...
