Miembros uno y todos

A heroic effort by our volunteers at the weekend’s Bunnings fund raiser.

By the end of the second shift we’d run out of sausages, bread and servettes.

Suffice to say those on roster were worked to the bone to achieve a record for funds raised at this event.

Big thanks to Angus and Geoff – while some of us worked for three hours these guys were on call all day – setting up, working on the stall and then packing up. The stuff of legends.

AGM this week. To get the job you want, you’ll have to be there. If not, you’ll get a job anyway.

If I was you, this is the one meeting of the year I would go out of my way to attend!

With that I mind, see you Wednesday.

Mitch Brown
President.

Stories
We might have broken a record...
Anecdotal feedback indicates that at yesterday's Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, we might have broken a record (to be formally confirmed by Treasurer Charles Thomasson). Angus 'The Onion King' Miller had to go and buy more sausages three times! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped on the day:  Brian Pearson, Uwe Seifert, Paul Seymour, Mark Twyford, Trent Belling, Mitch Brown, Geoff Croad, Gerald East, Mario Fairlie, Andy Bell, Adrian Crowe and Al Sirois, who also helped me to take the gear and the trailer back to the project shed.  And to top you all: Ann O'Connor, who was there for the entire day!
