Franz has has sent out an invitation from the Rotary Club of Gold Coast to attend their annual Botanical Bazaar show, to be held on the weekend of 5th - 6th of August. He has also sent a link for all the details and multi-stream expert speakers program of the event. I do hope some of our members can attend.
Geoff Croad is bringing along a sample Wheelchair for Children to the club on Wednesday. The chair has been produced by Wheelchairs for Kids in Western Australia. Geoff has some answers to various questions which he will relay to us on Wednesday.
Our club nominated our two project shed "foremen" Bryan Tuesley and John Hall for the Gold Coast (Moncrieff) Volunteer Awards and Angie Bell MP approved the nominations[Yayy! They are what I'd call living fixed assets. Ed.]. There is a special presentation at the Merrimac State High School at 5.30 pm on the Wednesday 23rd August and it is FREE, but there are limited positions. If you wish to attend, please let me know.
Some problems with the Medical Centre on Pentecost Island. The flooring has not been delivered yet and that is causing problems with the total construction of the building. A big thanks to Al for showing the progress with some postings on Facebook.

Wheelchairs for Kids was originally started by the Rotary Club of Scarborough in the late 1980's, with seed finance from our club (long since repaid, thank you!).
