Franz Huber - Bush Poetry and Outback Yarns
Mar 26, 2025 7:00 am - 8:30 am

Your newsletter editor will "jump into the breach" after our scheduled speaker, RYLA awardee Nick Butler, had to cancel at short notice. Why? (undoubtedly in consequence of what he learned at RYLA) he has landed a good, full-time job! Well done, Nick!

I've had a lifelong (well, almost) affinity for bush poetry, with Australia's most famous one, Banjo Paterson, my favourite. Come and be entertained! Furthermore, I'll use the audience to "test" an Outback Yarn I've written and intend to submit for a competition within the next week.
